As a result of his appointment as Director General of Sports Management and Team Principal of Scuderia Ferrari, independent director Maurizio Arrivabene has today foregone the requirements of independence and hereby lost his position of Juventus director as per article 147, paragraph 4 of the TUF (Testo Unico della Finanza).
The Juventus board of directors met today for the appointment of a new director in accordance with article 2386 of the Italian Civil Code and have decided to elect Arrivabene as non-independent director until the next shareholders’ meeting.
Taking into account the important projects the club is currently undertaking, the board believes it is fundamental to retain an individual who has portrayed professionalism and competence of continuity with the work already done during his first two years in office.
