Monaco travel to Caen

After seeing their recent strong momentum hit the buffers in recent weeks, AS Monaco will be aiming to get back to winning ways when they travel to Caen tonight.

Back-to-back draws against Saint-Etienne and Montpellier mean Monaco’s push on leaders Paris Saint-Germain has fizzled out of late, although they would leapfrog third-placed Marseille with a triumph on Friday evening.

Caen, meanwhile, will be battling to ensure they are not embroiled in a late relegation battle. Last weekend’s away victory over Nantes lifted them into 12th position, but with six points separating them from the relegation zone, they are not entirely out of the woods yet.
