"We could've won this match. It was tough and the atmosphere was hostile. I think Roberto is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, but we can’t use his great performance as an excuse. I'm angry with myself – I should be scoring," said Alvaro Morata following the Champions League match against Olympiacos.

The Spaniard was visibly disappointed by the defeat in Athens, which came about despite the glut of chances created by Juventus in the second half.

Morata had seven attempts in total, two of which were only thwarted by superhuman saves from the Olympiacos goalkeeper.

"Allegri asked me to try and get in behind and stretch the opposition," added the Spaniard before leaving with the rest of his team-mates for Turin.

Morata concluded: "Their goalkeeper saved everything, but I still need to work harder to score goals."
