Alvaro Morata spoke of his delight at wearing the black and white stripes of Juventus after weighing in with a goal and assist during this evening’s 3-1 triumph over Milan in Turin.
The Spanish forward, who joined from Real Madrid in the summer, continues to stake his claim for a permanent spot alongside Carlos Tevez in attack and did himself no harm with an accomplished display in front of a jubilant sell-out crowd tonight.
Speaking to journalists after the game, Morata said: “It was a great night and we’ve got plenty of reasons to be happy. It’s an honour to play for Juventus and I’ll keep working daily to give everything I’ve got, listening to the manager’s instructions.
“I feel genuinely part of this group, I’m happy to work here and convinced that I’ll have a bright future if I keep on in the same vein.”
