With one of Serie A’s heavyweight clashes just around the corner, Juventus upped their focus for Saturday’s meeting with Milan during a morning session at the club’s Vinovo training complex.

Having suffered fluctuating form of late, the Rossoneri will be desperate to reignite their European aspirations with a strong performance at Juventus Stadium, where they have yet to taste success since its turnstiles swung open for the first time in 2011.

But the Bianconeri are taking nothing for granted and continue to make steady progress with their preparations. These stepped up a notch during a rigorous session that included ball work, technical exercises and tactical drills played out in separate groups.

While Arturo Vidal was back training with the group, Martin Caceres was forced to undergo a separate workout after feeling muscle fatigue in his left adductor. His availability for Milan will be assessed before Saturday.

Patrice Evra also conducted an individual training session after shaking off the flu-like symptoms suffered over the past few days.
