Juventus returned to Singapore’s National Stadium this evening for a 90-minute workout in front of supporters hailing from all over South-East Asia.

With their every move cheered on by an enthusiastic following in the stands, Massimiliano Allegri’s men continued their build-up to tomorrow night’s third and final Asia-Pacific tour fixture against a Singapore Selection.

A main feature of the team’s pre-season preparations has been the steady increase in tempo throughout, and there was certainly no holding back as the players ran through a variety of drills designed to ease them into top gear.

After taking to the field at approximately 18.00 local time, the Bianconeri were split into two groups and worked on developing play down the flanks, with defenders, midfielders and attackers combining to test Gigi Buffon, Marco Storari and Rubinho between the sticks.

These particular drills were put into action during a practice match that finished 1-1, in which Arturo Vidal and Romulo each found the target on their return to full training with the group.

Juventus will now rest ahead of tomorrow night’s return to the National Stadium, after which they are to fly back for the continuation of pre-season on home soil.
