A mixed workout formed the basis of today’s build-up to the weekend fixture against Napoli, with Massimiliano Allegri choosing to run the rule over two separate groups when the session commenced shortly after midday.
Those involved in Tuesday night’s meeting with Inter, who yesterday underwent a warm-down in Vinovo, were first to take to the training pitches at a sunny Juventus Center, focusing on a series of fitness drills while the remainder of the squad worked in the gym.
After half an hour, both groups came together for the more technical aspect of the session, consisting of possession exercises, tactics and a practice match. Watching the action unfold from the touchline were club CEO Giuseppe Marotta and director Pavel Nedved.
With Napoli possessing the second best Serie A attack and a record of just one defeat in their last 14 matches, Allegri is leaving nothing down to chance for the trip to Naples and will put his men through their paces once again tomorrow morning.
