Neither side could find their way past the respective rearguards during an encounter bereft of any clear-cut chances.

Unable to capitalise on their game in hand (today’s match had been rescheduled from October) and close the gap at the top, the result sees Juventus remain fourth, nine points behind pacesetters Fiorentina.
