Primavera maintain forward momentum

Two goals within six second-half minutes enabled the Primavera to stay firmly amongst the chasing pack with this afternoon’s 2-0 success over Modena at Ivrea’s Stadio Gino Pistoni.

Strikes from Atila Varga and Vajebah Sakor midway through the second half sealed a comfortable win over the visitors, whose comeback attempts were dealt a significant blow when Giuseppe Aracri received a red card on 66 minutes.

The result lifts Juventus above Bologna into fourth place in the division, seven points behind league leaders Fiorentina and four adrift of Spezia and Torino, who share second place.
