Upon their arrival in Australia, the Juventus players tackled running drills in their inaugural training session.
After landing in Sydney during the early hours of Friday morning, the Bianconeri only took part in afternoon training, a change from the customary double session the group normally undergo.
The workout took place on the outskirts of the city at the Jubilee Oval in Kogarah, where the players entered the field at 17.00 local time.
The first part of the training session was dedicated to a full-body workout (generally carried out in the morning) before the players focused on possession and fitness drills when the ball appeared halfway through proceedings.
Massimiliano Allegri’s men ended their first sitting in Australia with a practice match on a reduced pitch, Sebastian Giovinco’s solitary strike ensuring the ‘Italians’ won the game 1-0.
