Sunday 31 August was an important day in the Juventus Soccer School calendar.
The J-Stars inaugural meeting of the season, held by the JSS sporting body, saw the group come together to discuss their plans for both the Juventus Primi Calci Ages 5-7 and Juventus Soccer School projects as well as its youth system.
At the JSS Headquarters, which are found within the vicinity of Juventus Stadium, the team divulged its objectives, tactics and changes for the 2014/15 season which will see a troop of more than 100 individuals including instructors, coaches, athletic trainers and goalkeeping coaches take to the field.
The meeting is of paramount significance, utilised above all for sharing the practices and policies which need to be adopted for health and safety, risk assessment and the safeguarding of minors.
Enthusiasm, excellence, education and innovation are the four key concepts which embody the JSS model and philosophy. The project is recognised as one of the best and envied both in Italy and abroad.
The initiative’s ongoing success comes down to a constant desire to stand out and act not only as an essentially football-oriented scheme but also as a point of educational reference and fair play.
These sentiments were echoed by JSS manager Marco Isnardi as he addressed the meeting, saying: “Our model is a company brand, which is based on a whole host of values that we respect and that everyone has to adopt in order conform to the Bianconeri philosophy.”
He concluded: “It is very important for us to make use of a dedicated team, that other than being able to teach football the Juventus Soccer Schools way, also knows how to act as an educational point of reference.”
Sunday’s events are only the beginning of a new season which has already heralded new changes and heightened enthusiasm. It promises to be an exciting campaign for the JSS.
