Stefano Sturaro was full of unbridled joy after bagging his maiden strike in the famous black and white stripes during today’s 3-1 victory over Napoli at Juventus Stadium.

The 22-year-old, who has impressed since joining from Genoa in the winter transfer window, also praised the Bianconeri’s quality as he comes to the end of his first few months at the club.

Speaking to the media pitchside he said: “Today is a perfect day. There’s a great crowd and I couldn’t have imagined a better day.

“You can play badly, lose or draw, but when we go out there, we always give everything we’ve got.”

After picking up medals for both the Scudetto and Coppa Italia this week, Sturaro has got his eye on one final target for the season.

He concluded: “Winning helps winning. We’re preparing for the Champions League final with great humility and focus. We can’t wait for 6 June to come.”
