This week’s edition of #TalentTrack commences with a look at midfielder Carlo Ilari, who is currently enjoying a loan spell at Lega Pro Group C side Catanzaro.

The 23-year-old proved the star of the show during Saturday’s 1-1 home draw with Paganese, converting a sumptuous backheel on 18 minutes before the hosts were pegged back courtesy of Matteo Calamai’s first-half strike.

Able to play in a variety of positions across the middle of the park, Ilari has impressed for the Calabria-based oufit this 2014/15 campaign, making 23 league appearances.

Heading further north to Gorgonzola, Michele Cavion put in a man of the match performance as FeralpiSalò won 1-0 away at Giana Erminio.

After spending the 2013/14 season on loan at Reggiana, the 20-year-old, who hails from Schio in Veneto, joined the Leoni del Garda at the start of this term where he has come on leaps and bounds.

During Saturday’s league encounter, Cavion's cross was turned home by team-mate Niccolò Romero, allowing FeralpiSalò to register their first league success in over a month.

Elsewhere, Elvis Kabashi’s goal wasn’t enough for Den Bosch after they slipped to a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of Eerste Divisie champions Nijmegen.

Following Christian Santos and Sjoerd Ars’ earlier strikes, the Juventus-owned number ten pulled one back on the hour mark before Navarone Foor sealed all three points for the visitors deep into stoppage time.

Kabashi, who has featured for Albania Under-19s on two occasions in his career, signed for the Bianconeri from Empoli in 2011 and spent last season on loan at Pescara.

And finally, another youngster who continues to earn the plaudits for his decent displays abroad, this time in the Slovenian PrvaLiga, is central midfielder Vykintas Slivka.

The 19-year-old got the ball rolling in ND Gorica’s 3-0 league triumph over ten-man NK Krka on Saturday evening, with Luka Majcen and Giuseppe Ruggiero completing the scoring.

Gorica’s victory saw them bring their three-game winless run to an end and rise to eighth position in the standings, leapfrogging this weekend’s opponents in the process.
