Two-goal Carlos Tevez was oozing with superlatives to describe the Bianconeri’s display in this evening’s comprehensive 4-0 dismantling of Hellas Verona at Juventus Stadium.

The Argentine, who netted his 12th and 13th Serie A goals of the campaign either side of half-time, believes the strong group available to Massimiliano Allegri is one of the fundamental reasons behind the team’s strong performances so far this season.

Speaking to the media after the win, the 30-year-old began: “There’s nothing better than seeing the team putting in a top-rate performance, not just the 11 on the pitch, but the collective as a whole.”

Starring alongside the Argentina in tonight’s goal-laden display was Paul Pogba, who still has plenty of room for improvement according to his team-mate.

“Paul surprises you every day, even in training. How far he can go depends solely on him, but I think he’s got more to offer.”

Tevez was quick to put the record straight on rumours linking him with a potential return to his homeland, insisting he is yet to make a decision and remains happy and settled in Turin.

“Going home is just a thought I’ve had, I don’t want to lie to people and the fans. It’s a thought that could change. I’ve got a year left on my contract and play for a club at which I feel at home. I’ll make the most of this unique moment for the time being.”
