After concluding the first half of the season with a polished display in Sunday night’s 4-0 win over Hellas Verona, the Bianconeri returned to the training ground this morning to begin work for their upcoming clash against another Verona-based side, Chievo, on Sunday afternoon at Juventus Stadium.
A 1-0 victory over this weekend’s visitors on the opening day of the season was the first step of a run that has yielded 46 points to date, and Massimiliano Allegri will be looking to continue this forward momentum when hostilities are renewed with the Gialloblu in Turin.
Following yesterday’s day off granted in the wake of Sunday’s strong performance, Juventus regrouped at their Vinovo training base for the first of several sessions leading up to their next Serie A encounter.
Missing out due to the birth of his twin boys was Simone Padoin (see news), while Romulo, who underwent surgery in his native Brazil over the month of December, returned to Juventus Center to begin his rehabilitation regime.
Tomorrow will see the Bianconeri raise the intensity of their preparations when they assemble in the morning for a solitary session.
