The battle against racism and discrimination is one which requires significant dedication and hard work on a daily basis.

Over the last six years, Juventus has been fully committed to the cause by coordinating two major initiatives in collaboration with Turin’s UNESCO Centre.

Since its beginning in 2009, “Kick out Racism” has helped groups of 18 to 25-year-olds from Italy and abroad to set up pro-integration, anti-racism projects.

Launched in 2012, “Play with Me” offers children at risk of social exclusion the opportunity to take part in Juventus Soccer School courses.

During an event held in Vinovo on Wednesday, the Bianconeri awarded grants to three winning projects from the fifth edition of “Kick out Racism”, the first of 5,000 euros to l'Associazione Gioventù Operaia Cristiana (association for young workers). Meanwhile students Alessandro Giudici and Abdul Rasheed received 2,500 euros each for their respective initiatives “Tutti i Colori dell’Estate” and "Rimbalziamo...il razzismo”.

Also on the menu today at Juventus Center, “Play with Me” celebrated three years of service to children born in 2005, who have been able to play and participate in a whole range of recreational activities, but more importantly build a sense of fraternity and belonging.

Those who have benefitted from the project since 2012 today gave way to a cycle of new Bianconeri born in 2008, as the club’s young generation continues to grow along the cherished principle of treating one another as equals.
