Massimiliano Allegri urges his charges to learn from this evening’s late disappointment against Frosinone

Massimiliano Allegri says his men will need to pick themselves up quickly and take heed of the mistakes made in this evening’s 1-1 draw with Frosinone at Juventus Stadium.

With the hosts winning by a goal to nil and the clock ticking into the last minute of injury time, opposing central defender Leonardo Blanchard headed home to secure a share of the spoils, prompting the Juventus boss to lament his side’s costly lapse in concentration and underline the need for his new-look side to swiftly turn the corner.

Speaking to the media at Juventus Stadium, Allegri said: “I’m angry because we must improve quickly. At this moment we’re shipping goals from the first opportunity that falls our opponents’ way, you simply cannot concede from a corner with two minutes remaining.

“We keep trying to force the play on instances when we should be slowing things down. The quality of our overall play was decent tonight and we’ve got a team full of youngsters who need to develop.

“We need to work to improve the team and bring it up to a certain level. We’re still inexperienced when it comes to reading the game in certain situations and we’re currently paying the price with dropped points.”
