To mark the goalkeeper’s 20-year anniversary as a Serie A professional, the shirts worn on his debut for Parma and during last Saturday’s win over Milan are displayed in the club’s museum

The 20th anniversary of legendary Bianconeri goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon’s Serie A debut has been honoured in a special exhibition at Juventus Museum.

On 19 November 1995, a young Buffon made his bow in Italy’s top flight in the colours of Parma, who hosted Milan at the Tardini.

And in a delicious twist of fate, the Rossoneri were once again the opponents on the weekend Gigi marked his 20th anniversary as a professional, coupling the moment with the prestigious accolade of equaling Gaetano Scirea’s 552 appearances for Juventus.

These phenomenal achievements have been acknowledged in a special cabinet at the club’s Juventus Museum, displaying the goalkeeper’s shirts worn in 1995 and 2015.

To see the exhibition at first hand, come and visit Juventus Museum.
