Just under three months since their appearance in last season's Champions League final in Berlin, Juventus will tomorrow learn their group stage opponents for the coming European campaign. The draw, held traditionally in Monaco's Grimaldi Forum, will begin on Thursday 27 August at 17.45 CEST.

Twenty-seven sides have already qualified for Europe's premier club competition, which will feature for the first time under new reforms, the winners of last season's Europa League (Sevilla). Completing the 32-team will draw will be the additional five teams competing in the play-off rounds, which are set to be completed this evening.

The structure of the draw is unchanged from previous seasons, as the 32 qualifiers will be split into four Pots. Juventus find themselves in Pot 1 along with the domestic champions of Spain, England, Germany, Portugal, France, Russia and Holland. The remaining three are decided by UEFA's Champions League coefficient.

The following teams are guaranteed of their places at tomorrow's announcement in Monaco:

Pot 1: Juventus, Barcelona, Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Benfica, Paris Saint-Germain, Zenit St.Petersburg, PSV Eindhoven.

Pot 2: Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Porto, Arsenal, Valencia, Manchester City
Pot 2 or 3: Shakhtar Donetsk, Sevilla.

Pot 3: Olympique Lyonnais, Dynamo Kiev, Olympiakos, Galatasaray, Roma.

Pot 4: Borussia Mönchengladbach, Wolfsburg, Dinamo Zagreb, Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Gent, Malmo.

According to the rules of the draw, explained in full beforehand, Juventus will not meet another Italian side in the group stages but could face one of Real Madrid, Arsenal or Manchester City.

The identities of the five remaining clubs to qualify will be settled this evening in the second leg of the play-off round. The aggregate scores of those ties as they stand are as follows:
