The day after Juventus’ crucial Serie A win over Fiorentina and in the hours before the players learnt of their Champions League last 16 meeting with Bayern Munich, the Bianconeri turned their attentions this morning to the third competition in which they are involved, the Coppa Italia.
Massimiliano Allegri’s men begin their defence of the trophy they lifted for the tenth time in the club’s history last May with an appetising home tie against cross-city rivals Torino on Wednesday evening.
While players primarily warmed down during today’s workout following last night’s exertions against the Viola, tomorrow will see them step up their preparations for what is already the second Derby Della Mole of the season following October’s dramatic league win.
Before taking Tuesday’s training session, Allegri will hold his pre-match press conference at 11.30 CET at Juventus Center in Vinovo.
