After playing 88 minutes of the Bianconeri’s valuable Champions League victory against Sevilla on Wednesday, Paulo Dybala took journalists through the moment that led to Simone Zaza scoring Juve’s second goal of the evening to secure all three points.

Speaking at Juventus Stadium, he began: “I was very tired, I had cramp but kept going to make the tackle and luckily the ball ended up with Simone. I watched him charge on alone to net our second and that’s what we deserved after a dominant display.”

Having tasted success in his first ever campaign in Europe’s premier club competition, the Argentine underlined how he was eager to keep improving on performances to ensure his side’s fortunes remain on the rise.

“We’re working very hard, there’s a lot of new faces here this season, but we’re doing everything we can to make sure we can enjoy more evenings like tonight. All of us want to do well for this club and we’ll now look to build upon this victory.”
