Patrice Evra says the Bianconeri will not be making excuses for a slow start to their domestic campaign which continued with this evening’s 2-1 away defeat to Napoli.
As one of the most experienced players in the dressing room, the Frenchman believes he and his team-mates must continue to help the new arrivals to settle in but remains confident Juventus will soon turn the corner.
Speaking to the media after the final whistle in Naples, the 34-year-old said: “We’re all responsible. Our young players cannot be used as an excuse and it’s down to the older heads to help them out.
“It’s a difficult moment for us, and it hurts, but we’re not panicking and I remain fully optimistic. Now we’ve got the Champions League and Bologna and we want to win at home.”
