Juventus wasted no time in pushing Wednesday’s reverse in Reggio Emilia out of their minds as they regrouped in Vinovo early this afternoon with the small matter of Saturday’s derby meeting with Torino on the agenda.
After eating lunch together as a squad, Massimiliano Allegri’s men took to the training field for a routine post-match training session, with those involved against Sassuolo undergoing a series of warm down exercises while the remainder of the squad turned its attentions to fitness and ball work.
Although there was no sign of Claudio Marchisio, forced to withdraw from last night’s match with the flu, today’s session did see the return of Uruguayan defender Martin Caceres.
Having rounded off proceedings at Juventus Center, the champions headed to the team hotel where they will stay overnight before returning to training tomorrow morning.
On the conclusion of Friday’s final derby preparations, Juve’s Tuscan boss Allegri will meet the media at 14.00 CET at the complex’s adjoining Media Center.
