Happy Birthday, Marco!

Retired in 2014 after a spell in Canada with MLS side Montreal Impact where he was the club’s first marquee signing, Marco joined Juventus from Parma in 2002.

Part of Bologna’s coaching setup since the turn of the year, the forward netted 18 of his 142 Serie A goals with the Bianconeri.

In his two year stay at the club, the striker was part of the squad that won the Scudetto and reached the Champions League final in the 2002/03 season as well as scoring the first penalty on the way to an Italian Super Cup penalty shootout win over Milan in 2003.
