After securing a crucial three points against Atalanta on Sunday, the Bianconeri returned to Vinovo this morning to begin preparations for Wednesday evening’s match away to Sassuolo.

The players were divided into two groups, seeing a thorough warm-down in the gym for those who played the majority of yesterday’s win, while everyone else took part in a regular training session out on the pitches.

After leaving the field of play during the first half against the Nerazzurri, Roberto Pereyra underwent medical exams today which revealed a second-grade tear of the semimembranosus muscle in his right thigh. The Argentine is expected to be able to return to action within approximately 40 days.

Kwadwo Asamoah also checked in for tests today, which showed that the Ghanaian had suffered a first-grade tear of the femoral bicep in his left thigh. The midfielder’s recovery period has been estimated at approximately 20 days.

Tomorrow sees Massimiliano Allegri address the media at 12.30 CET at Juventus Center before his charges polish their preparations for Matchday Ten in Reggio Emilia.
