New arrivals Hernanes and Mario Lemina linked up with their Juventus team-mates for the first time during this afternoon’s training session in Vinovo.
With Massimiliano Allegri away at the UEFA 2015 Elite Club Coaches Forum in Nyon, assistant manager Marco Landucci and the remainder of the first-team backroom staff were the ones to put a reduced group through its paces on a sunny afternoon at Juventus Center.
Thirteen internationals are currently around the world representing their various countries, but the likes of Alex Sandro and Juan Cuadrado were in Vinovo to welcome their fellow newcomers to the club.
Following an introductory warm-up, the group, which included several youngsters from the Primavera, underwent fitness work and individual technical drills.
Efforts will be doubled tomorrow when the Bianconeri regroup for morning and afternoon sessions as they aim to approach their return to Serie A action – against Chievo on Saturday 12 September – in peak condition.
