The Juventus and Hublot partnership, founded on passion, adrenaline and innovation, has combined to create the latest addition to the Swiss watchmaker’s collection.

A special Bi-Retrograde Juventus edition of the iconic Big Bang timekeeper was unveiled exclusively yesterday, with just 100 expected to be available for general sale.

There could only really be one venue up to the task of staging the launch of such an exclusive piece, the Gianni and Umberto Agnelli Club at Juventus Stadium.

With Juventus Legends president David Trezeguet, Head of Global Partnerships and Revenue Giorgio Ricci, Bianconeri stars Andrea Barzagli and Stefano Sturaro and Hublot Italia Brand Director Augusto Capitanucci in attendance, two of the world’s most prestigious brands came together last night to write a new chapter in their partnership, now already four years old.

Speaking at the start of the event, Ricci said: “We’re delighted to announce the renewal of our partnership with Hublot that has proven to be a real winning team since its conception in the 2012/13 season.

“This agreement is testament to our joint goals of international growth at the heart of strategic markets around the world and it’s an honour to have such a globally recognised name fighting in our corner at the world’s most prestigious international sporting events.”

“We’re very proud to have renewed our collaboration with Juventus and to adorn the Big Bang piece with the black and white of this famous club,” Hublot Brand Director Capitanucci added.

“Football is one of Hublot’s great passions and so to be here celebrating our partnership is this magnificent Stadium is a real privilege. Today marks the kick-off of a new chapter in our friendship with a team that has consistently written its name in the history of the sport. Hublot loves football!”

The only thing missing from the day was of course, football. However, that was quickly rectified as two teams composed of journalists and Hublot employees took to the field at Juventus Center in Vinovo for a friendly match, led by captains Stefano Tacconi and Moreno Torricelli.
