Massimiliano Allegri stated that he was content with what he saw from the Bianconeri in their first friendly fixture in St. Gallen last Saturday against Borussia Dortmund.

This evening, his team will look to kick on with their pre-season preparations against Polish Ekstraklasa outfit Lechia Gdansk at the PGE Arena. The game forms part of Lechia Gdansk’s 70th anniversary celebrations.

Just as Dortmund were deep into their pre-season preparations, so too are last season’s fifth placed side in Poland. Lechia, coached by 44 year old ex-Poland international midfielder Jerzy Breczek, have already got their league campaign underway, losing both of their opening fixtures at home to Cracovia, 1-0, and 2-1 away at reigning champions Lech Poznan.

In between their domestic commitments, the Gdansk outfit earned a respectable draw with Wolfsburg on 12 July before narrowly losing to Schalke the following week.

The Green and Whites, promoted to the top division in 2008, play their home games at the impressive 43,000 seater PGE Arena which was purpose built for the 2012 European Championships where it hosted four fixtures including Italy’s 1-1 draw with Spain in the group stages.

This evening's game will kick off at 17.00 CEST and you can follow all the action from Poland live on the club's English Twitter feed @juventusfcen.*
