Antonio Conte is today celebrating his 46th birthday.

The Lecce-born tactician enjoyed immense success during both of his spells at the club, winning 13 trophies as a player in the nineties before returning to steer the Old Lady back to the pinnacle of the Italian game from the dugout.

A midfield enforcer by trade, captain Conte was the heart and soul of a decorated Juventus line-up that conquered the world, lifting five Scudetto titles, four Italian Super Cups and Champions League, UEFA Cup, Intercontinental Cup and Coppa Italia trophies during his 13 glittering seasons on the field of play.

After hanging up his boots in 2004, Conte would be back in Turin seven years later, returning to end the club’s six-year wait for title glory at the first time of asking. His first campaign saw the Bianconeri go unbeaten in Serie A and two further Scudetto titles soon followed, the last of which coming courtesy of a record-breaking points total.

Everyone associated with Juventus Football Club wishes Antonio many happy returns on his special day.
