He's just your regular Champions League hombre del partido. Give Alvaro Morata a European stage to perform on and he rarely disappoints. And he certainly stole the show this evening with a stunning late winner against Manchester City.
Speaking after the game, the Spaniard said: "We just need to get used to playing together – that's perfectly normal after so many changes at the club. That's the reason why we've made a slow start but we can build on this result now."
A comeback victory away at last season's Premier League runners-up and two-time champions is certainly a fillip for Bianconeri morale after recent results in Serie A.
