Nicola Rizzoli will run the rule over Juventus' first away game and big match of the season against Roma on Sunday 30 August.
The Reggio Emilian referee will be joined by linesmen Gianluca Cariolato and Mauro Tonolini and fourth official Andrea Padovan. Acting as the encounter's additional goal-line assistants will be Luca Banti and Massimiliano Irrati.
The 43-year old has vast experience of refereeing important games, having officiated last year's World Cup final between Argentina and Germany in Rio de Janeiro as well as over 200 matches in Serie A.
Sunday's clash will be the fifth time that Rizzoli has held the whistle for a Roma and Juventus tie, the last coming in January 2014 as the Old Lady ran out 4-1 winners at Juventus Stadium.
