The Florence-born official will referee Saturday evening’s Derby della Mole at Juventus Stadium

Gianluca Rocchi has been named referee for Saturday evening’s Derby della Mole at Juventus Stadium.

The Florence-born official has previously overseen 26 fixtures involving the Bianconeri (24 of those in Serie A) and Juventus’ record under his tutelage in Italy’s top flight currently stands at 19 victories, two draws and three defeats.

This will be the fourth Serie A match that the 42-year-old has refereed between Saturday’s opponents and the Old Lady boasts a perfect record in these contests, having registered three wins without conceding a goal.

Rocchi is joined in Turin by assistant referees Riccardo Di Fiore and Giulio Dobosz, fourth official Andrea Crispo and goal-line officials Paolo Valeri and Carmine Russo.
