Juventus Football Club can today confirm that Frederik Sorensen has completed a permanent transfer to Bundesliga outfit FC Köln.
After joining Juventus in 2010, Sorensen, then just 18 years of age, appeared a total of 18 times for the first team during the 2010/11 campaign and weighed in with a magnificent assist for Alessandro Matri’s matchwinning goal in the 1-0 triumph over Inter.
In January 2012, the Danish defender moved to Bologna on a co-ownership deal that was subsequently renewed for the 2013/14 campaign. His professional development continued last season at Hellas Verona, whom he helped secure Serie A survival with five games to spare.
All associated with Juventus wish Frederik all the very best in his new adventure.
