A feast of goalmouth action, a host of missed chances and a well-contested local derby would be an accurate summary of this afternoon’s 1-1 draw between the J-Academy’s U15s and their Torino counterparts that preceded a 2-1 victory for Felice Tufano's U17s over Novara in Vinovo.

Juventus U15 1-1 Torino U15

After an opening quarter controlled by Il Toro, Davide Cei’s young guns gradually grew into the game and created the majority of the half’s scoring opportunities as presentable chances came and went for Ibrahima Diallo and Giuseppe Leone.

Committed, energetic, promising, but goalless at the end of the first 45.

The picture would soon change though as Torino forward Ekra Ange pounced to give his side the lead nine minutes after the interval.

Cei’s boys though did not let their heads drop and almost struck back immediately through Luciano Mazzone whose superb header was somehow clawed from under the bar by opposition goalkeeper Tommaso Fontana.

Thankfully, the Bianconeri’s pressure soon told shortly afterwards as Diallo deservedly levelled the scores with plenty of time on the clock for a winner.

Though both sides pushed for the game’s decisive goal in the closing stages, with Juve keeper Alessandro Siano making a string of fine saves, neither could convert their opportunities and produce a third goal of the game, as the spoils were eventually shared in a pulsating encounter.

Juventus U17 2-1 Novara U17

Felice Tufano's U17s meanwhile made it 15 points from six games in this afternoon's late kick-off, coming from a goal down to beat Novara 2-1 in Vinovo.

Trailing early on to Matteo Stoppa's strike, Juve's young guns hit back instantly through Massimo N'Cede Goh to go in at the break level pegging.

And three minutes before the hour mark, Tufano's boys netted the game's decisive goal as Bioty Moise Kean stole in to seal all three points for his team.
