Juventus’ Under 15s secure a convincing 4-1 victory in Cuneo, but the Under 17s fall to a rare reverse against Modena in Vinovo

It was a day of mixed fortunes for the #JAcademy on Sunday, as Juventus’ Under 15s cruised to a 4-1 win away to Cuneo, while Felice Tufano’s Under 17s lost out 3-2 at home to Modena.

Davide Cei’s young guns kicked off proceedings in the morning, their two goals either side of half-time proving the difference down in Cuneo. Luciano Mazzone gave the visitors a fourth minute lead and they soon took control of the match when Francesco Mensa added a second in the 19th minute.

The Bianconeri continued to dominate proceedings after the interval, as Ibrahima Diallo netted just two minutes after the restart and Luca De Panfilis capped off a fine win with his side’s fourth moments after Cuneo scored a consolation strike.

It would be a more difficult day out for the Under 17s, who fell to a home reverse against Modena. The visitors took a 10th minute lead through Mattia Giornali and would stay in front until 11 minutes after the break, when Bioty Kean Moise drew Felice Tufano’s charges on level terms.

However, momentum immediately swung back the other way as Modena struck twice in only three minutes courtesy of goals by Riccardo Mineo and Simone Cassoli.

The Bianconeri hit back after the hour-mark through Federico Mastropietro, but they were unable to find a precious equaliser and their opponents held on for a maiden victory of the campaign.
