Atkinson to oversee Bayern clash

UEFA has announced that Martin Atkinson will oversee Juventus’ Champions League last 16 first leg tie with Bayern Munich on Tuesday night at 20.45 CET.

Born in 1971, the English official has already presided over three previous European matches involving the Old Lady, the last of which being May 2015’s 2-1 semi-final first leg triumph over Real Madrid.

He will be joined at Juventus Stadium on Tuesday evening by assistant referees Mike Mullarkey and Stephen Child and goal-line officials Michael Oliver and Craig Pawson.
