Fresh from celebrating the Scudetto, the Italian champions turn attentions to Saturday's Coppa Italia final in Rome against Milan

As an unforgettable surge to a fifth consecutive Scudetto title was finalised on Saturday evening against Sampdoria and the final chapter of a history making campaign was written as Gianluigi Buffon held the trophy aloft, the Bianconeri's final appointment of 2015/16 loomed into view.

Granted a well earned rest by Massimiliano Allegri yesterday and with the Serie A season now over, the Italian champions have just one more piece of history to write in the coming five days.

Between now and Saturday night, Allegri's men will have just one target in mind: becoming the first team to win back to back domestic doubles and break their own record for Coppa Italia crowns (11).

Warming up with a series of aerobic drills to shake off the weekend's festivites, the Coppa holders set about laying preliminary plans for their encounter with Milan in the capital, focusing primarily on possession and ball work.

The players are expected back in Vinovo tomorrow afternoon.
