Fabio Grosso’s young guns fall 2-1 to Dinamo Zagreb in Tuesday’s UEFA Youth League tie in Croatia

Juventus’ Primavera were unable to record back-to-back wins in the UEFA Youth League this afternoon, as Ivan Bozic’s brace handed Dinamo Zagreb a dramatic 2-1 victory in injury time.

Fabio Grosso’s young guns took the lead after just 12 minutes when the in-form Moise Kean opened the scoring, but Dinamo levelled only five minutes later courtesy of Bozic’s first strike of what would be a memorable match for the striker.

Both sides would enjoy chances to grab a winner over the remainder of the encounter, Grigoris Kastanos and Mehdi Leris coming closest for the Bianconeri, but Bozic it was who had the final word in the 92nd minute, sealing his side’s first success of this Youth League campaign.

Today’s results mean that all four teams sit level on three points each. Grosso and company will look to return to winning ways in the competition on Tuesday 18 October away to Olympique Lyonnais.
