The day after Juve’s fans in Australia were treated to a show from players in collaboration with adidas, supporters had the chance to get even closer to their stars and watch them put the finishing touches to their preparations for tomorrow’s opening friendly against Melbourne Victory.
The open training session took place in the state-of-the-art AAMI Park, a 30,000-seater stadium which typically hosts rugby matches as well as football fixtures involving the Bianconeri’s opponents this Saturday.
After focusing primarily on fitness both yesterday and this morning, the team turned their attentions to technical and tactical drills in the afternoon, running through a series of exercises based around ball possession and distribution before ending with a short warm-up game – the perfect appetiser for tomorrow’s keenly-awaited encounter against local outfit Victory, which kicks off at 19.00 AEST (11.00 CEST) in the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.
