Massimiliano Allegri puts his men to work on tactical plans for Friday’s Serie A encounter with Bologna at the Stadio Dall’Ara

With the small matter of defending their newly acquired status as league leaders and preparing for Bayern Munich in the best possible fashion on their minds, there was to be no letting up for Juventus in training this afternoon as the Bianconeri began preparations for their impending trip to Bologna in earnest today.

Shortly after demonstrating his theoretical prowess in a tactical lecture for the club’s youth academy coaches this morning, Massimiliano Allegri led his men out onto the Vinovo pitches to put his words into practice ahead of Friday’s testing away tie.

With that in mind, following yesterday’s entertaining and all-action open training session, Allegri this time set his men the task of walking through his plans for the Stadio Dall’Ara as the Tuscan looks to outwit opposite number Roberto Donadoni.

Doing so will be no mean feat however with the Rossoblu enjoying somewhat of a renaissance under the guidance of the experienced Donadoni, collecting 27 points since his appointment, a total that would see them occupy fourth place in the table had the season begun on Matchday 11.

Juve will be back on duty tomorrow but not before Allegri addresses the media in his pre-match press conference, scheduled to take place at 12.00 CET. As ever, fans will be able to follow breaking team news and the boss’ key quotes via the club’s official English language Twitter feed @juventusfcen.
