Juventus return to training just hours after Wednesday night’s 0-0 draw with Sevilla in their opening fixure in Champions League Group H

From the Champions League to Serie A, Juventus’ season is now truly up and running.

A matter of hours after playing out a 0-0 draw with Sevilla in their opening European fixture of the season, the Bianconeri were put to work this morning as attentions turn to domestic matters once more, namely Sunday’s Derby D’Italia meeting with Inter at the San Siro.

As usual the day after a fixture, those who featured against the Andalusians underwent a warm-down, while the remainder of the playing squad conducted a routine training session out on the Vinovo pitches.

Of the former group, Dani Alves is set to be monitored in the coming days after a knock to the thigh sustained during last night’s game.

Massimiliano Allegri’s men are expected back at the same time tomorrow as preparations for this weekend pick up the pace.
