Following in the footsteps of Juventus’ Primavera, who consolidated top spot with yesterday’s win over Virtus Entella, the Under 17s too sent out a signal to the chasing pack below them by thrashing Trapani 6-0 in Vinovo. Tripaldelli and Mastropietro both bagged braces on the afternoon for Felice Tufano’s young guns. Goals by Scapin and Goh capped off a third consecutive victory for the league leaders, who will look to continue their winning streak when they entertain Genoa next Sunday.
Heading south to La Spezia, Juve’s Under 15s played out a dramatic 5-5 draw against their sixth-placed hosts. After conceding the opener, Davide Cei’s charges established a commanding 5-1 lead by the 65th minute, courtesy of strikes by Gozzi (x2), Diallo, Fagioli and Mensa, but they would ultimately fall foul of a fine fightback from the Ligurians, who struck the equaliser five minutes before the final whistle.
A special mention goes to the Giovanissimi, who emerged victorious in the derby against Torino thanks to goals from Poppa and Lovaglio.
