Juve trio nominated for Ballon d’Or 2016

Gianluigi Buffon, Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain have been nominated by France Football for this year’s Ballon d’Or award.

The Juventus trio count among the 30 players to be shortlisted for the most illustrious individual prize in world football, previously won by former Bianconeri greats Omar Sivori (1961), Paolo Rossi (1982), Michel Platini (1983-85), Roberto Baggio (1993), Zinedine Zidane (1998) and Juventus vice-president Pavel Nedved (2003).

Respected football journalists across the globe will vote for the winners and the results will be announced before the end of the calendar year.
