Juventus Football Club is proud to announce the unveiling of a new official store for supporters in China on the TMALL Global platform, an extension of the Alibaba group.
The site, a collaboration with Official Retail Partner EZshopnet International Limited, is set to be launched on 20 September 2016 and will provide an easy and convenient place for Chinese fans to purchase authentic Juventus merchandise, from souvenirs and accessories to match jerseys.
The new site will complement Juventus’ existing online store, http://www.juvestoreasia.com opened in August 2015, that already operates in China, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Australasia (Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea) and South-East Asia.
By embarking on this venture, the Italian champions will benefit from exposure to the hundreds of millions of visitors that make the most of TMALL Global’s shopping services via PC and mobile.
To celebrate the launch, one lucky supporter will be drawn at random from those who have made an online purchase between September and October to win a jersey signed by the likes of Claudio Marchisio, Leonardo Bonucci, Miralem Pjanic, Gianluigi Buffon and Giorgio Chiellini.
What’s more, Juve fans heading to TMALL Global will be offered a unique 10 per cent discount, a ¥50 online voucher and free shipping on purchases over ¥600.
The close bond between the Bianconeri and China is nothing new. Juventus have contested many matches in the country including the 2015 Italian Super Cup and the one-off friendly appearance of the club’s Legends squad in March, both in Shanghai.
Elsewhere on the web, the Bianconeri have amassed just under 3 million followers across social networks Sina Weibo, Tencent Weibo, WeChat, Hupu and Baidu Tieba since stepping into the Chinese digital world in 2011.
