Alvaro Morata believes Juventus must treat every remaining Serie A game as a final if they are to succeed in seeing off the challenges of Napoli and Roma and lift a fifth consecutive Scudetto title.

The striker warned of the perils of underestimating any of the team’s seven remaining league opponents, pointing out that a slip at this stage could prove costly in the race for silverware.

Speaking to Mediaset and Sky Sport in Vinovo, the Spaniard began: “The league title has always been our aim. We didn’t begin the season well and have given all we’ve got to get back on the right track, but it doesn’t mean anything if we’re unable to lift the trophy at the end of the season.

“One off-day is all it would take for our rivals to close in, even Roma aren’t far off the pace. We’ve got a great chance of lifting the title, but only if we’re able to focus solely on ourselves. We must consider every game a final.”

Next up for the Bianconeri is a trip to the San Siro to face a Milan side aiming to keep up their chase of a Europa League spot at the expense of inter-city rivals Inter, who lie six points ahead of them in the competition’s final qualification berth.

And while Saturday’s encounter sees the league’s in-form side go up against an outfit that is winless in its last four, Morata is adamant Sinisa Mihajlovic's men will be viewing Juventus as the ideal scalp for a much needed morale boost.

He added: “Milan are always tough opponents to face, especially at the San Siro. It will be tough and a win for them would be of extreme importance, especially at this moment in time.”
