Simone Padoin took the opportunity to thank Juventus and the club's fans during a farewell appearance on Jtv this evening.
The midfielder, who officially brought down the curtain on his magnificent adventure in Turin with yesterday's move to Cagliari, was quick to praise the loyal Bianconeri faithful for the way in which they took him to their hearts.
Here is what he had to say:
“I’ve taken the time to have a good look back at my Juventus career over the past few days, reflecting on all the years I’ve spent with this club. It’s been a constant upward trajectory, and one that’s been full of exciting moments. To give you an example, I’m referring to our first, completely unexpected Scudetto triumph or the Champions League final, without forgetting all the honours I won with my team-mates. Handing over the Scudetto trophy with those I’ve played alongside for the past five years was also a fantastic moment. I’ll also never forget the fans’ chant for me, something unexpected that made me happy. Thank you, Juventus fans.”
