New arrival Marko Pjaca says there was never any doubt in his mind that Juventus were the perfect fit for him once he became aware of the Bianconeri’s interest this summer.
The Croatian winger, 21, had a number of suitors courting his services but claims Juve’s prestige and standing in world football meant his mind was immediately made up the minute the reigning Italian champions came calling.

The Juve factor
“I’ve joined Juventus because it’s a fine club with a great history. I want to grow as a player and become better with each training session and game. I came here to play in the Champions League and help the team win trophies over the coming years. There was never any doubt for me as far as my destination was concerned.”
On the offensive
“I’ve recently been playing as a left winger but when I was younger I operated as an attacking central midfielder. I think I can play every role in the final third of the pitch. Wherever the coach decides to use me, I will give my best and help the team.”
Price tag
“It is a lot of money but Juventus have also invested good money on other players, so I don’t feel any pressure. I will try to do my best and prove the money was well spent.”
Serie A
“I want to test my mettle in Serie A. It will be tough, because there are some really good teams here, but we’ve got a great side and I think we’ll be able to lift the Scudetto once again.”

“It’s a number I’ve worn for Dinamo Zagreb and the Croatian national team, so it was an easy choice for me to make.”
