Primavera coach Fabio Grosso and winger Francesco Cassata spoke to the media directly after this evening’s Coppa Italia final first-leg reverse to Inter at Juventus Stadium.
Here’s what the Bianconeri duo had to say:
Grosso: “I’m very happy because we put in a great performance. We took the game to them and dominated for long periods of play, only affording them chances through our own mistakes. We’ll try and make less of these errors in the return leg. We did well, created many opportunities and scored two goals that unfortunately were offside. We now have another match ahead of us and we’ll head there confident of giving Inter a good game.”
Cassata: “We played well and I’m sure that slice of luck we were missing tonight will be on our side in the second leg. We’re aware of how good we are and feel able to handle the pressure. It was the first time I’ve played in this stadium and a wonderful experience for me. I’d like to thank our fans for their magnificent reception.”
