After an “emotional” homecoming at Zagreb’s Stadio Maksimir- coupled with another winning cameo from the substitutes’ bench - during the week and a first experience of a Juventus squad photo today, there was naturally plenty for Marko Pjaca to discuss with the Jtv cameras this afternoon after training in Vinovo.
Touching on all of the above and his ambitions for the coming campaign, here are the pick of Marko’s quotes from his exclusive Jtv interview:
“Returning to Zagreb so soon after leaving was a special occasion for me, it felt fantastic being back. On the pitch, we showed a marked improvement on previous weeks and we played very well on the night. It was a great result and now we need to kick on and repeat that kind of performance more consistently.”
"It was a new experience for me, posing with the team for the squad photo but an enjoyable one nonetheless! My ambitions here at Juventus? To win the Scudetto and go as far as we can in the Champions League. Serie A is a very tough league in which to compete, you can’t afford any off days and you must always give 100% to win any given match.”
