Fabio Grosso's Primavera side take on second-place Virtus Entella in the pick of this weekend's J-Academy fixtures

Considering the importance of the fixture and the excellent recent form of Fabio Grosso's Primavera side, there could be little argument over the headline of this week's J-Academy weekend preview.

Topping the table with 40 points, Grosso's young charges face arguably one of their biggest tests of the season so far this Saturday afternoon (kick-off 13.00 CET) as they play host to second-place Virtus Entella, one point back from the Bianconeri on 39.

On the conclusion of the first phase of the competition, the top two teams in each of the three groups will advance directly to the so-named Fase Finale while the third, fourth and two best fifth-place sides will be forced to navigate a qualification play-off.

Elsewhere, Felice Tufano's U17s, also tustling for a place at the summit of the league table, will look to take the positives from yesterday's training ground friendly with Chieri into Sunday's encounter with bottom club Trapani in Vinovo.

Last but not least, the Bianconeri's U15 squad will head south to the coast to take on La Spezia.

As ever, J-Academy followers will be able to check up on all of the weekend's action via Juventus.com's weekly junior round-up or on the Juventus App in the "Youth Teams" section.
